Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Gradually add water, kneading until a smooth dough forms. Add olive oil if desired. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1–2 hours.

- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Roll or stretch the dough into your desired pizza shape and place on a baking tray.

- Pre-bake the crust for 3–4 minutes.
- Spread tomato pizza sauce or ketchup evenly over the base.

- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
- Slice mushrooms in half and use a paring knife or straw to cut small holes resembling skull eyes and mouths.

- Arrange mushroom skulls on top of the cheese.

- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

- Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
This Halloween Pizza is family-friendly and can be enjoyed by older kids. For toddlers, consider skipping the carved mushrooms if they find them unappealing, and cut the crust into small, soft bites. Not suitable for infants due to the salt content.
