Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Mix in the orange food coloring until the mixture is evenly tinted.
Add the puffed rice cereal and stir until well coated.
While still warm, scoop out portions and shape the mixture into small pumpkin-like balls.
Insert a 1-inch piece of sesame pretzel stick into the top of each ball to form the stem.
Cut small leaves out of green fondant.
Attach the fondant leaves next to each stem for decoration.
Let cool completely before serving.
