👋 Hey there, friend! I’m so glad you’re here.

That’s me – Charis – with my snack-sized sous chefs đź©·đź’™
Welcome to Yum and Yummer – your new favorite corner of the internet for quick, easy, and family-friendly recipes that bring joy back into the kitchen.
I’m Charis (or Charity, if we’re getting formal) – a proud mom of two young littles – my duo of chaos and cuddles. So, believe me when I say I understand how wild mealtimes can get. That’s exactly why I’m here: to help busy people like you get dinner on the table without the stress.
Whether you’re a seasoned cook or still figuring out how to turn on your Instant Pot, you’re in the right place.
My kitchen MVPs? Hands down, the Air Fryer and Instant Pot are total lifesavers for getting flavorful meals done fast. I’ll show you how to make the most of them, too.
🌱 How Yum and Yummer Got Started
Back in 2011, my sister gave me the gentle push I needed to start this blog – and I haven’t looked back since. What began as a place to answer everyday food questions and share handy tips has become a one-stop source for home cooks of all levels.
Over time, Yum and Yummer evolved into something much bigger than I ever imagined. It’s now a hub for:
- Time-saving kitchen hacks
- Smart meal planning ideas
- Budget-friendly family meals
- Easy go-to guides for your favorite appliances
- And of course, delicious recipes tested in my real-life kitchen
